Now, the foyer opens immediately to the view to the southeast and San Francisco Bay. To the right, a gallery frames the view to the southwest draws guests to the living room, with its panoramic outlook on the city.

The detailing of the gallery walls scored to recall stone joinery and an illusionistic floor pattern in wood and stone lengthens the perspective, making the apartment seem larger and more stately.
